Her attempts to delay the company proceeding with works. Brief description of the winter weather and that she is unable to travel to Edinburgh due to a sprained ankle.

Advises that line engineers are staying locally and trees are being felled at the Falls of Foyers. Expresses her wish for Geddes to look over her Japanese exhibition pictures.
