Wishes Patrick Geddes success with the ‘Masque of Learning’. Regrets both himself and his wife cannot attend due to health reasons, but would like to send his son instead. As one of the first residents of the University Hall, William S. Bruce shows appreciation for Geddes’ efforts to further develop the Hall and its ties to the University with the help of the Masque. Hopes Geddes will be more honoured in the future as ‘the successful founder of University Social Residence in Scotland’.
