Descriptions shifted over time and varied with the focus of the directory and the permitted length of the entry. Typical change requests concerned the organisation's name (from SPAID to OEDA in January 1996), Nancy Tait's epithets (MBE, Dr), and shifts in organisational activity caused by fluctuations of funding, such as e.g. the closure of the Electron Microscope Research Unit (EMU) after OEDA lost its main source of funding in 2003.
Tables of compensation suits aggregated by employer, in alphabetical order (by name of employer). Capturing employer’s name, previous names, address, still trading yes/no, insurer’s name and address, followed by a table capturing case name, age, address, alive/dead, solicitor’s name, and compensation paid.

The TUG appears to have been set up by the Independent Tribunal Service (ITS), London. Following reforms of the appeals procedures, 1999, the ITS came to be replaced by The Appeals Service.
Correspondence (occasionally just covering letter) with individuals affected by asbestos. Includes telephone memoranda, occasionally sensitive personal data, copies of death certificates, etc.
