Patrick Geddes requests that services of the International Association for the Advancement of Science, Arts and Education be utilised in the collation of information for the Carnegie Trust.

Reference to Raymond Unwin and Royal Institute of British Architects in relation to 'plans'. Under heading 'Social Finance', Ross says that after discussions with Victor Branford, they have 'sufficient suggestions to form the framework of a book'. Will submit some ideas for Geddes's comments.

Expresses his condolences on the deaths of Anna and Alasdair Geddes. Discusses Geddes' Lucknow report and his own work on agricultural credit and social engineering. Mention of Leslie Scott, Inspector H. Adams and [David] Lloyd George. Refers to the 'New Series' and discussions with Victor Branford on Ross' contribution to it, and the finance of agriculture.
