Discusses a new artwork, and arrangements for its transfer to the Outlook Tower. Advises he has completed a design for the Peace Palace at the Hague in connection with a competition, he will look to work with a London architect. Expresses his reservations around the National Gallery project and that he wishes to recall the plans with the advent of the new [Liberal] government.

Contains a range of photographic prints, plans and illustrations which were commissioned or drawn by Patrick Geddes during his survey of Dunfermline or included in the 1904 report 'City Development: a study of parks, gardens and culture-institutes' which was commissioned by the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust. Geddes' proposals were never adopted by the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust but the report is considered to be one of Geddes' most influential early urban planning works.
