Historique

Born in or around 1894, Sarah M. McLellan was the daughter of Archibald and Annie B. McLellan. Her father was a tailor, and the family appears in the 1901 Census at 67 Henderson Street in Maryhill, Glasgow. Sarah attended the Glasgow Church of Scotland Training College from 1903-1905 and was recognised by the Scotch Education Department as a Certificated Teacher in July 1905.
