Includes also sketches for valley sections, thinking machines, botanical drawings, maps, globes. Sketches on the Outlook Tower, detailing the ideology behind it and linking it to a live organism. Mentions Auguste Comte, Spencer, Shakespeare, Victor Hugo, Plato, Carlyle, Rousseau, Reverend St. Miller, Muller and Lavelaye. Manuscript.
