Information leaflet for an international conference held at the University of Strathclyde from 11-14 July 1994. The conference was organised to mark the 50th anniversary of the Scottish Hotel School and the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Tourist Board.

Records the date, details and price of each book acquired for the Scottish Hotel School Library between 11 January 1968 and 19 July 1977. The back page of the volume also contains statistics for session 1976-1977 relating to Library expenditure, the number of books in the Library, the number of books issued, and some general comments.

The panel contains clippings of advertisements taken from the following publications: the Times; the Scotsman; the Investor's Chronicle; the Sunday Telegraph; On the Road (a publication for commercial travellers); the Daily Express; the New York Times, and the New Yorker. This is one of a set of five panels (OF/26/24/2-6) used as teaching aids for a course entitled 'A Plan for Advertising for the Hotelkeeper,' delivered at the Scottish Hotel School in February 1962 (a newspaper clipping containing a photograph from the course also appears in item OF/26/21/1). The letter 'A' appears on the bottom right corner of the panel.

A double-sided instruction sheet on the operation of the Scottish Hotel School telephone switchboard and a blank Scottish Hotel School menu card are enclosed at the front of the volume.
