Fait partie de M. J. Sanders papers

Mostly handwritten notes and drafts of minutes and reports, or carbon copies. Originally contained multiple copies, which have been disposed of in line with our appraisal policy. In chronological order.

From the mid-1960s asbestos began to form a focus of attention for the Warren Spring Laboratory (WSL), in particular of its Air Pollution Division. The institution was asked to look into the problems of monitoring working environments in Mintech (Ministry of Technology) establishments in regard to airborne asbestos, in conjunction with the requirements of the draft Regulations on Asbestos. WSL safety officer M J Sanders also had (in his own words) "an interest in the disposal of asbestos waste representing a concern of the Mintech Safety Officers".
