Patrick Geddes inform the Executive he still hasn’t received a definite confirmation from the Ghent Exhibition Authorities regarding the Masque performance. Arrangements for rehearsals, travelling and accommodation were also discussed. The Executive decides the form a Masquers Association in Edinburgh. Appeals to German educational centres and institutions to exert their influence to prevent the repetition of such military attacks. Requests the government to communicate this protest to the German Imperial Government and to the Hague Court. Appeals to the Allied Governments to prohibit any possible future reprisals of the kind. Proposes the idea of an international commercial convention that would prevent war and maintain peace. Participating countries in such a convention would commercially isolate a belligerent country by ceasing any form of import or export activities until that country is brought to an agreement.
Accepts acting as a chairperson for the Conference on Belgian Reconstruction on 20 July. Regrets she cannot act as a chairperson on the 27th of July, and recommends John Nugent Harris, Secretary of the Agricultural Organisation Society, instead.

Details the activities of the National Institute for the Blind which includes caring for blinded soldiers and sailors, providing weekly relief to blind persons across the UK who are in financial need due to the War, instructing blind persons at home and producing books printed in Braille. Appeals for Patrick Geddes’ support in re-starting the Workshops for the Blind.
Informs the Secretary of the Summer Meeting that the Wounded Allies Relief Committee has decided to send Sir Lindsey Smith as delegate to the conference on the work of Red Cross organisations to be held on 28th of July.
