Thanks Patrick Geddes for informing them about the dates for the Masque of Learning. Regrets pupils or staff of the College will not be able to attend as they are on vacation on those dates.
Acknowledges receiving Patrick Geddes’ postcard of 18th March. Informs Geddes none of the College students would like tickets for the subsequent performances of the ‘Masque of Learning’, as most of them have already seen it at the University.
Informs Mrs. Percy Dearmer that it is unlikely the students of the College might attend any of the performances of the ‘Masque of Learning’ due to the distance to the University and the cost of tickets which is beyond their means. A few members of staff might attend, however he cannot confirm this at the moment.
Indicates the earliest date students could attend the Masque would be 12 April but in small numbers, as most of them would be able to do so after 21 April.
Thanks Anna Geddes for her letter and for confirming the performance of the ‘Masque of Learning’ for members of the International Historical Congress will take place in the evening of 5th of April in the Grand Hall of the University of London. Asks for the 200 free tickets to be delivered that week. Does not favour sending a final number of participants by the morning of 5 April but will oblige. Asks for the ‘Masque of Learning’ booklets to be delivered to Grafton Galleries.
Prothero, George Walter, 1848-1922, historianMiss J. Lynch requests an interview in view of publishing an article on Patrick Geddes’ life. A. Leighton has read about Patrick Geddes’ ‘Masque of Learning’ performances in London in the local newspaper. Suggests that Geddes would hold a performance of the Masque at Morgan Academy, which would not only be educational, but would also help gather funds for a recreation park for the school. If Geddes considers it feasible, Leighton could travel to London and see the Masque performance on 11 April to be better prepared to help with anything needed in the Dundee performance.

Dearmer, Jessie Mabel Pritchard, 1872-1915, novelist, dramatist, children’s book author and illustratorInforms Anna Geddes he will put a notice about the ‘Masque of Learning’ in the L.C.C. Gazette in the hope of attracting many teachers. Regrets being unable to take the part of Froebel in the Masque due to his busy schedule. Will do his best to promote the Masque to schools. Once Patrick Geddes returns to London, he would like to discuss the Masque with him.
