Parte de Patrick Geddes papers

Discussion of philosophical ideas relating to sketches of Geddes's philosophical system. Suggests Geddes's temporary blindness has given him a vision denied to others. Finds Geddes's sketches inspiring, but requiring fuller exposition. Asks what he means by 're-religion'. Suggests that an outlook totally from the point of view of 'Life' could give a somewhat distorted view of the Universe, in that the biological outlook of Spenser and Comte ignores the spiritual elements as seen in Hegel and Plato. Recommends his (Mackenzie's) book Elements of Constructive Philosophy.
