Confirms receipt of diagrams sent from Charles Staniland Wake. Advises that he must delay thinking on them and the subject of graphics until December due to other commitments and will write thereafter.

Thanks Patrick Geddes for his offer to plead the cause of the Falls of Foyer before the British Aluminium Company, her position to act limited by no newspapers being delivered, confirming that her mother will write to suggested people, and discussion regarding acquisition of Japanese engravings. Discusses Mr Burns activity in fighting the cause of the Falls of Foyers in relation to the Aluminium Company development and to the County Council. Alluding to a rival aluminium company. Lays out the County Council officials' personal interests in the development as advised by Mr Burns. Advises that line engineers are staying locally and trees are being felled at the Falls of Foyers. Expresses her wish for Geddes to look over her Japanese exhibition pictures.
