Remarks on benefit of sympathisers found within the British Association. With reference to practical and administrative arrangements for Paris Exposition. Marr lists necessary tasks to be carried out in London and Paris. Stresses necessity of 'draft prospectus' being finished. Reference to 'The British and American Assembly' being 'a big thing - big enough to frighten us'. In Marr's view, there is a need for Patrick Geddes to be aware of 'a distinct recognition of our own limitations'. Reference to [John] Ross.

Business relating to Paris International Assembly. Marr is travelling to Paris to deal with accommodation and administrative arrangements. Enquires whether [Edward] McGegan has obtained 'journals from Williams & Norgate' with full description of Exhibition. Reference to [Exhibition] Programme which Marr is working on. He requests Geddes' 'emendations' of the draft. Gives views on format of programme, and the need to be 'precise and definite as to what we are to do'. Reference to British Association and to two of its members, Lewis Paton and Mr. Garnod.

With reference to Marr's efforts to obtain accommodation, conference space and finance for Paris Exposition, and requests payment of salaries. Gives details of alternative sites. Personal references to M. Delvolvé, Choublier [ ] Millerand, Picard, [Edward] McGegan and [John] Ross.

Further arrangements for accommodation and conference space for Exposition. Suggestion of space in or near Trocadero. Reference to M. With reference to Edmund Wilson, 'prime mover in the foundation of the Leeds Industrial Dwellings Co. Ltd.' Marr gives details of aims of Company and asks for a published account of Town and Gown Association operations as he feels that this would be invaluable to the work in Leeds. Asks Patrick Geddes to write if he is free, if not to write to J. Arthur Thomson or Victor Branford and ask them to do so.
