Acknowledges receipt of Patrick Geddes’ letter which proposes the Masque to take place on the evening of 5 April at Crosby Hall and give members of the International Historical Congress a reduced rate. Cannot give Geddes a precise number of attendants at the moment, nor a financial guarantee. Suggests Geddes could decide on a minimum number of tickets to be purchased and asks him to confirm whether the Masque will take place on the proposed date. Offers to meet Geddes to discuss matters further.

Asks for the 200 free tickets to be delivered that week. Does not favour sending a final number of participants by the morning of 5 April but will oblige. Asks for the ‘Masque of Learning’ booklets to be delivered to Grafton Galleries.
