Patrick Geddes regrets the low attendance rate and small financial gains of a recent course of the University Extension Scheme organised by himself. Discusses the reasons for this and hopes the situation will improve.

Refers to the Sultan, the Westminster relief fund, widows, children and prisoners and the potential role of the Foreign Office and outlines Geddes' for social reform in Cyprus.

Patrick Geddes expresses his concern regarding the rise of arrears. Geddes doesn't believe it is necessary for him to attend the meeting of the Town and Gown Association, and will send a proxy.
