   Acknowledge receipt of Whitson and Methuen’s letter of the 7th of November. Reassert Henry Beveridge’s position and call for the repayment of the loan and the incurred interest. If the Town and Gown Association cannot repay the loan, then Henry Beveridge will place the Association in liquidation.

Discusses the possible liquidation of the Town and Gown Association in the event the debt to Henry Beveridge cannot be repaid, his skepticism regarding the benefits of a meeting between the Town and Gown Association and the University and City Association and the difficulty of selling the Lawnmarket property. Informs Geddes that many former residents of the University Hall have sent letters of appreciation to be read at the Hall Dinner.
