17 photographic prints, probably copies, of images taken by James Norval, a photographer operating in Dunfermline. Geddes commissioned Norval to visually document Dunfermline in its entirety as part of his survey of the town on behalf of the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust. The images were used to inform his report 'City Development: A study of parks, gardens and culture-institutes' (1904). This file of images do not appear in the final report.
