Outlines Patrick Geddes's proposal that services of the International Association for the Advancement of Science, Arts and Education be utilised in the collation of information for the Carnegie Trust. Patrick Geddes regrets the low attendance rate and small financial gains of a recent course of the University Extension Scheme organised by himself. Discusses the reasons for this and hopes the situation will improve.

Explains he did not wish to criticise him and regrets having caused this impression. Mentions John Struthers. Wishes to meet and discuss his ideas regarding courses for teachers.

Draft letter which outlines Patrick Geddes' questions regarding his scheme for an Armenian labour colony in Cyprus. Requests to meet with Bryce in order to discuss the matter. Refers to the Sultan, the Westminster relief fund, widows, children and prisoners and the potential role of the Foreign Office and outlines Geddes' for social reform in Cyprus.

Patrick Geddes expresses his concern regarding the rise of arrears. Geddes doesn't believe it is necessary for him to attend the meeting of the Town and Gown Association, and will send a proxy. Discusses the Town and Gown accounts, Crosby Hall and the state of the accounts. Mentions Sir William Dunn, Miss Jane Hay, Sir William Collins and Lord Rosebery.
