History
Arthur Huddleston joined the Sudan Political Service in 1904; became Governor of the Khartoum Province, 1920–22; and Governor of the Blue Nile Province, Sudan, 1922–27. He became Financial Secretary to the Sudan Government, 1928–31, and Economic Adviser in 1931 until he retired in 1932. Sir Arthur Huddleston was Director Royal Technical College, Glasgow from 1933–1945.
