Biographical history

John Busby graduated from the University of Nottingham. After National Service, he joined ICI, working in Manchester, Teesside and Ardeer. He was director of the Centre for Industrial Innovation at the University of Strathclyde from its inception in 1969 to his retirement in 1972.
