Biographical history
James Percival Agnew was the Chairman of the Scottish College of Commerce at the time of the merger with the Royal College of Science and Technology to form the University of Strathclyde in 1964. Agnew was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Strathclyde on 20th September 1966.
