Further details of Macdonald's dissatisfaction with Thomas B. Whitson's handling of Town and Gown Association Affairs: 'largely thanks to yourself Whitson has lost just perspective, has an exaggerated (indeed insolent) importance in his own eyes'. Previous problems regarding Rhodes Scholars (mentioning Sir Alfred Ewing and [ ] Gilmour) for which he blames Whitson and urges that Whitson and John Ross should be sacked. Financial difficulties regarding purchase of the contents of the Outlook Tower.

Macdonald's further dissatisfaction with Whitson. Transaction regarding the contents of Outlook Tower. Reference to Whitson having concluded a successful personal transaction on a property in Princes Street, and interest of the Association in a printer's business. Mention of Geddes's previous plans for Outlook Tower area, including artists' studios. Mention of £400 deposit receipt, asks when Geddes plans to come and pick this up.
