Visitors' book of the Department of Food Science (from 1982, the Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology), located in the James P. Todd Building. The volume contains the names of external visitors to the Department; their organisation and/or their address, and the date of their visit. Most of the visitors, who came from all over the world, were academics, government employees or representatives of the food science and food production industries. The first entries are dated 1 May 1970, when the James P. Todd building was officially opened and a plaque was unveiled to the late Professor James P. Todd.
